Okay, so I stumbled upon this artist, Thomas Dambo, and I was like, “Whoa, this guy is cool.” He makes these giant troll sculptures out of recycled wood, and they’re hidden all over the world. It’s like a real-life treasure hunt! I really wanted to get my hands on a book about his work, you know, something with nice pictures and maybe some behind-the-scenes stuff.
So, first thing I did was fire up my computer and headed straight to that big online bookstore. I’m not great with searching stuff, so I just typed in “thomas dambo book” into the search bar, fingers crossed.
Searching for the Book
I scrolled through a bunch of results. There were some kids’ books that looked kinda related, but not what I really wanted. I was looking for something more… grown-up, I guess? An art book or something like that. And then, finally, I hit to a page that listed other relative books.
It had lots of detail photos about those giant troll, and told the story about them.
I was so excited, I decided right then and there that I gotta build my own troll in my backyard! I am ready to go!
