Okay, so I’ve been meaning to catch Kathleen Madigan’s stand-up for ages. Everyone says she’s hilarious, and I finally decided to see what the hype was about. Seattle seemed like a cool place to do it, so I figured, why not make a little trip out of it?
First things first, I looked up her tour dates. Found out she was playing at the Moore Theatre – sweet! I’ve heard that’s a pretty decent venue. Then I booked my tickets. I didn’t want to risk them selling out, you know?

After that, it was all about travel plans. I checked out some flights and found a pretty good deal, round trip. Score! Then I booked a hotel, nothing too fancy, just somewhere to crash after the show. I wanted to be somewhat close to the theatre, so I didn’t have to worry about getting lost or anything.
The Day Of
The day of the show, I was pretty pumped. I spent the afternoon exploring Seattle a bit – you know, touristy stuff. Grabbed some coffee, walked around Pike Place Market, that kind of thing. It’s a cool city, even if it is a bit rainy.
Then, it was showtime! I headed to the Moore Theatre, found my seat, and waited for Kathleen to come on. The place was packed, which is always a good sign. I wasn’t sure what expect, but also I looked forward to it.
And man, she did not disappoint. Seriously, I was laughing the entire time. Her jokes were just so relatable and down-to-earth. She has this way of talking about everyday stuff that’s just… funny. You know? It’s hard to explain, but she’s just got that comedic timing down.
- Really enjoyed the whole experience!
- Kathleen was fantastic.
- Would totally see her again.
After the show, I just headed back to my hotel, still chuckling about some of her jokes. I’d say the whole trip was a success. Got to see a new city, and saw a great comedian. Two birds, one stone. Definitely recommend checking out Kathleen Madigan if you get the chance. She’s the real deal.
