Okay, so Labor Day weekend in Seattle, right? I wanted to make the most of it, so I did some digging to see what was going on around town. I started by just hitting up Google, you know, the usual “Seattle Labor Day events.”
I scrolled through a bunch of options, looking for something that really sounded fun. There were outdoor concerts, some food festivals… I even saw a couple of things happening at the museums. But I was looking for something really active.

My Plan of Attack
- Checked local event listings: You know, those “what to do” websites.
- Asked around: I hit up some friends to see if they had any plans or knew of anything cool.
- Considered my interests: I wanted something outdoorsy, maybe a bit athletic.
- Looked weather forcast that I don’t want to get wet.
After all that, I decided on this. I packed a lunch, grabbed my water bottle, and headed out the door. I made sure to wear comfortable shoes, because I know I walked a lot.
It was a great day! I got some exercise, enjoyed the fresh air, and saw some amazing things. I finished the day by get home around 7pm, and watched a movie, feeling pretty good about how I’d spent the day.
It was a pretty simple plan, nothing too crazy, but it worked out perfectly. That’s the thing about these holidays, right? Sometimes the best way to enjoy them is to just keep it simple and do something you love.
