Okay, so the other day I had to fly out of SeaTac, and I’d heard horror stories about the security lines. Seriously, like hours-long waits. I wasn’t about to deal with that, so I did some digging and found out about this thing called SEA Spot Saver.
What I Did
First, I went to the official website for reservation – it’s super easy to find. I needed to book a time, so I checked the reservation times. My flight was in the morning, so I looked for a slot about two hours before. Figured that would give me plenty of time.

I entered my flight details – you know, the usual stuff like airline and flight number. Then I picked a time that worked for me and entered the name for the reservation. It’s free, by the way, which is awesome.
Once I booked, I got a confirmation email. This email had a QR code – very important! I made sure to save that email on my phone, so I didn’t have to go print that code. You can also use the code in Apple Wallet which is even better.
At the Airport
When I got to the airport, I followed the signs for the Spot Saver line. I locate general checkpoint and find the Spot Saver. It’s separate from the regular security lines, and honestly, it felt like VIP treatment.
I showed the TSA agent my QR code and my boarding pass. They scanned it, and boom – I was through in like, maybe 10 minutes? Tops. It was ridiculously fast.
The Result
I breezed through security. Seriously, it was a game-changer. I had so much extra time before my flight. I grabbed a coffee, relaxed, and didn’t have to stress about rushing to the gate.
So, yeah, if you’re flying out of SeaTac, definitely look into Spot Saver. It saved me a ton of time and hassle. I’m never flying out of SeaTac without it again!
