Okay, so I was planning a road trip, and you know how it is, gas prices are crazy! I needed to figure out the cheapest place to fill up in San Angelo, TX. My usual method is pretty simple, nothing fancy, I start by searching online.
Checking Gas Prices
First, I grabbed my phone and started searching. I just typed in something like “gas prices San Angelo TX” into the search bar. You know, keep it simple.
I found some info from a few different websites. I looked at something called Gas Buddy.
- Gas Buddy: I Saw this site that mentioned a place called “Jack’s Convenience Store”.
Finding the Cheapest Gas
So, this Gas Buddy thing said that, on May 19th (around noon, I think), Jack’s Convenience Store had the best price. It’s apparently some locally-owned place, which is cool.
Jack’s Convenience Store: The price I saw was $4.09 per gallon for regular gas, at 2 N Koenigheim St.
I made a note of the address and price. I Figure it’s always good to have a backup plan, so I planned to check a couple of other places too, when I get into town, you know, just in case. But this gave me a solid starting point!
