Okay, so I needed to find a good dry cleaner, and like everyone else, I just Googled “rick’s cleaners near me.” I was hoping to find a place that was, you know, actually close and had good reviews.
First thing I did was open up my browser and typed in the magic words. Boom! A whole bunch of options popped up.

Checking the Results
I started by looking at the map that showed up at the top. I wanted to see what was really within a reasonable distance. I mean, “near me” can mean different things to different people, right?
- I zoomed in and out on the map a few times, just to get a good sense of where everything was.
- I noticed a few places that were definitely too far, so I mentally crossed them off my list.
Digging Deeper into Reviews
Then, I started looking at the list of cleaners and their reviews. I’m a big believer in reviews – I figure other people’s experiences can save me a lot of hassle.
I looked for places with:
- Lots of reviews. The more, the merrier, I say.
- High average ratings. Duh. Anything below a 4-star, and I was suspicious.
- Recent reviews. I wanted to make sure the place was still good now.
I read a few of the actual reviews, too – not just the star ratings. I wanted to see why people liked (or didn’t like) a place. Looked for things like, if they were friendly, did a good job, and fast.
Making My Decision
After comparing a few places, I picked one that seemed like a good fit. It was close, had tons of great reviews, and people seemed to really like the service.
So, that’s how I found my new dry cleaner. It wasn’t rocket science, but taking a few minutes to actually look at the results and read some reviews definitely helped me find a good spot.
