So, I finally did it. I went to see Nicki Minaj in Seattle on her Pink Friday 2 World Tour! I’ve been a Barb for, like, ever, and I was super stoked to finally see her live. Getting ready for the show was a whole process in itself.
Getting Ready
First, I spent hours figuring out my outfit. Did I want to go full-on pink? Something sparkly? Edgy? It was a tough choice! I ended up going with a pink and black outfit. It felt like a good balance, you know?
Then there was the makeup. I practiced my winged eyeliner like three times to make sure it was perfect.I added some glitter, of course, because, Nicki! I wanted to stand out, but not in a “trying too hard” kind of way.
At The Show
Getting to the venue was a bit crazy. Traffic was insane, parking was a nightmare, I mean, classic concert chaos. Once I got inside, though, the energy was amazing. Everyone was hyped. The crowd was a total mix of people, all ages, all styles, it was awesome to see everyone there for the same reason – to celebrate Nicki!
When she finally came on stage, the place erupted. Seriously, the screams were deafening! She opened with some classic, and the whole crowd was singing along. Then she did all the songs I love and she brought so much energy!
My favorite moment
- She performed “Super Bass” and everyone went wild.
- There was this one part where she talked directly to the audience, and it felt so personal, like she was really connecting with us.
- Her dancing was unreal, and seeing all the dancers with her on stage was a massive.
Honestly, the whole night was a blur of music, lights, and good vibes. I left the concert feeling totally exhausted, but also super happy and inspired. It was totally worth the money, the traffic, everything. If you’re a Nicki fan, you HAVE to see her live. It’s an experience you won’t forget!
