Makers Mark Seahawks: Where to Buy the Limited Edition Bottle?

Okay, so I’ve been seeing these custom Maker’s Mark bottles floating around, and the Seahawks ones? Forget about it – they’re awesome. I decided I had to get my hands on one, or even better, make my own. Here’s how the whole saga went down.

First, I started digging around online. I mean, everywhere. I checked all the usual spots, trying to find if Maker’s Mark had any official Seahawks editions. No dice. Lots of fan-made stuff, but nothing from the source.

The Hunt Begins

  • I spent hours, I mean hours, looking. It was kind of a fun treasure hunt, honestly.
  • I found a few people selling customized ones, but they were either way too expensive or looked a little… questionable.

That’s when I thought, “You know what? I can do this myself!” I’m no artist, but I’m pretty crafty when I put my mind to it. I’ve done some DIY projects before, so I figured, why not?

Getting Crafty

So, I grabbed a bottle of Maker’s Mark (the regular kind, of course). I made sure to enjoy the contents first – gotta have an empty bottle to work with, right? Then, I cleaned it up real good, removing all the labels and any sticky residue.

Next up, the design. I wanted something that really screamed “Seahawks,” but also kept that classic Maker’s Mark look. I spent some time sketching out ideas on paper, playing around with the logo, the colors, and the overall vibe.

I found some high-quality Seahawks images online that i could get inspiration from. I carefully traced and adjusted them. Then came the paint. I used acrylics, because they’re easy to work with and dry pretty fast.

It took a few coats, and a lot of patience. Let me tell you, painting a curved surface is no joke! But I kept at it, layering the colors and making sure everything was smooth and even.

The Finishing Touch

The iconic Maker’s Mark wax seal? That was the trickiest part. I didn’t want to mess it up. I practiced on some scrap paper. Then after several tries and getting the wax just right, I had my seahawks themed wax seal.

Finally, I added a clear coat of sealant to protect the paint and give it a nice, professional-looking finish.

And that’s it! My very own, custom-made Maker’s Mark Seahawks bottle. It’s not perfect, but I’m super proud of it. It’s a one-of-a-kind piece, and it looks awesome on my shelf. Plus, I had a blast making it.
