Okay, so I was super hyped to catch “Little Women” at the Seattle Rep. I’m a huge fan of the story, and seeing it live? Yes, please!
First things first, I grabbed my tickets online. Gotta do that early, especially for popular shows, you know? Didn’t want to risk it being sold out. I printed the confirmation, even though I had it on my phone, too. Old habits die hard, I guess.

Getting Ready
- Checked the showtime like five times. Seriously, I was paranoid about being late.
- Planned my outfit. Nothing too fancy, but definitely wanted to look presentable.
- Figured out the parking situation beforehand. Downtown Seattle can be a nightmare, so I looked up nearby garages and their rates.
Showtime!
I arrived at the theater about 30 minutes early. Gave me time to soak in the atmosphere, grab a program, and find my seat. The lobby was buzzing with excitement – you could feel the anticipation in the air.
The set design was gorgeous. Seriously, they did an amazing job transporting us to 19th-century Concord. The costumes were also on point – so much detail! And the acting? Phenomenal. Each of the March sisters had such distinct personalities, and the actresses really brought them to life. I felt all the emotions – joy, sadness, anger, hope. It was a rollercoaster!
During intermission, I chatted with some other audience members. Everyone seemed to be loving it. We talked about our favorite scenes and characters. It’s always fun to share that experience with other people who appreciate the story.
After the Show
After the final curtain call, I joined the standing ovation. The cast and crew deserved every bit of it. I left the theater feeling inspired and moved. It was one of those performances that sticks with you long after you leave your seat.
Overall, it was a fantastic experience. I highly recommend checking out “Little Women” at the Seattle Rep if you get the chance. You won’t be disappointed!
