Okay, so I needed to figure out the school schedule for my niece in Great Neck. It’s always a pain, right? Every district does things differently.
Finding the Calendar
First, I hit up Google. Just typed in “great neck schools calendar”. You know, the usual.
The school district website popped up, It took me a while to snoop around, find their navigation bar, and click relevant pages
I scrolled through a bunch of pages, Finally, I found a link that said “Calendar.” Bingo!
Clicked on that, and it opened, I could see this year and next year’s calendar.
Figuring Out the Dates
It was easy to check those key dates – you know, holidays, the first day of school, that sort of thing.
I also checked for any early dismissal days or those random professional development days they throw in. Gotta stay on top of that!
Getting it on My Calendar
I immediately transfer all of school calendar event into my own google calendar.
It is super easy to do that, all I need is to create new event, and key in all the details
After I keyed in all the dates, I double check, no point doing it if information is not accurate.
Now, My calendar is up-to-date.
