Okay, so I decided to dive into “Revenge Wears Prada,” the sequel to “The Devil Wears Prada.” I’d seen the movie ages ago, and I figured, why not give the book a shot? Here’s how it went down.
Getting Started
First things first, I grabbed a copy. I opted for the paperback because, well, I like the feel of a real book in my hands. I made myself a cup of coffee, settled into my favorite armchair, and cracked it open.

Diving In
- The first few chapters threw me right back into Andy’s world. It was like no time had passed, even though, you know, it had. She’s older, working at a bridal magazine, and engaged. Sounds pretty good, right?
- But then…Miranda Priestly re-enters the picture. Ugh. That woman is a force of nature. Just reading about her made me anxious.
- I plowed through the chapters pretty quickly. I’m not gonna lie, I was curious to see how Andy would handle Miranda this time around.
The Middle Bits
There was a lot of back-and-forth. Andy trying to build her career, plan her wedding, and deal with, you guessed it, Miranda’s craziness. It was a bit of a rollercoaster, to be honest. I found myself rooting for Andy, then getting frustrated with her, then rooting for her again.
I took a few breaks here and there. You know, life happens. But I always came back to the book, eager to see what would happen next. I even stayed up way past my bedtime a couple of nights because I just couldn’t put it down.
The Ending
Without spoiling anything, let’s just say things got pretty intense. I definitely didn’t see some of it coming. I finished the book feeling…satisfied. It wasn’t all sunshine and roses, but it felt realistic. And honestly, I appreciated that.
I am very happy to have finished reading it.
