COTA Christmas Lights: Everything You Need to Know Before You Go.

COTA Christmas Lights: Everything You Need to Know Before You Go.

Okay, so the other day I decided to get into the holiday spirit and check out these COTA Christmas lights I’d been hearing about. I’d seen some pictures online, but honestly, they didn’t do it justice. I figured, “Why not? Let’s make a night of it.”

First, I grabbed my warmest coat, because let me tell you, it gets chilly out there! Then, I rounded up the family – that’s always a bit like herding cats, but we managed. We piled into the car, cranked up the Christmas tunes, and hit the road.

Getting There

  • Finding the place was pretty straightforward. I just popped the address into my phone’s GPS and it took us right there.
  • Parking was a little bit of a challenge, I won’t lie. There were tons of people, all with the same idea. But we circled around a few times and finally snagged a spot. Patience is key, my friends.

The Lights!

Once we got out of the car, wow! It was like stepping into a different world. Seriously, the lights were everywhere. They had these huge, sparkling trees, and arches completely covered in lights that you could walk under. The kids’ eyes just lit up – it was magical.

We strolled around, taking it all in. They had different sections, each with its own theme. There was one area with these animated displays, like reindeer that looked like they were actually running, and Santa waving from his sleigh. It was so cool!

I snapped a bunch of pictures, of course, but even those don’t really capture the feeling of being there. It’s just something you have to experience. We even grabbed some hot chocolate from a vendor to keep us warm – it was the perfect touch.

Overall Impression

Honestly, it was a fantastic night. We spent a good couple of hours just wandering around, enjoying the lights and the atmosphere. It definitely put us in the Christmas spirit! If you’re looking for something fun and festive to do, I highly recommend checking it out. Just be prepared for a bit of a crowd, and definitely dress warmly!
