Okay, so I’ve been meaning to dive into “Revenge Wears Prada,” the sequel to “The Devil Wears Prada,” for ages. Today, I finally started it!
Getting Started
- First, I grabbed my copy of the book. It’s been sitting on my shelf, looking all pretty, just waiting for me.
- I made myself a giant cup of coffee – gotta have the caffeine for a good reading session, right?
- Then, I curled up on the couch with a super soft blanket. Comfort is key, people!
Diving In
I started reading, and honestly, I was immediately hooked. It picks up years after the first book, and so much has changed for Andy. I won’t spoil anything, but let’s just say her life isn’t exactly what I expected.
I really got into the first few chapters, reading about Andy’s new job, her relationship, and – of course – her run-ins with Miranda Priestly. The drama! The fashion! It’s all there.
My Progress (So Far)
I only managed to get through about a third of the book today. Life, you know? But I’m already so invested in the story. I can’t wait to see what happens next, especially with all the twists and turns that have already happened. Seriously, it is very interesting!I definitely going to read all of it.
Tomorrow, I’m planning to finish at least another third. Maybe even the whole thing if I can find the time! I’ll keep you posted on my progress. It’s a really enjoyable read so far, and totally recommend it if you loved the first book (or the movie!).
