Okay, so I decided to check out the Pflugerville Parade this year, the 2023 one. I’d heard about it from some neighbors, and it sounded like a fun, local thing to do. I love these community events.
First, I looked up the parade route and time online. I wanted to make sure I got a good spot, you know, so I wouldn’t be stuck behind a bunch of tall people. It stated it would start around *, through the city’s main street.

Getting Ready
- I packed a small bag with some essentials: water, snacks, sunscreen and a foldable chair.
- I set my alarm early, because I really wanted to beat the crowds.
The Experience
I drove over to Pflugerville and found a parking spot a few blocks away from the main street. It was already getting pretty busy, but I managed to snag a decent spot along the route.
I set up my chair and waited for the parade to start. There were families all around, kids with balloons, and everyone seemed pretty excited. The atmosphere was good!
The parade itself was nice. There were some cool floats, school marching bands, local businesses showing off their stuff, and even some people dressed up in costumes. I took some photos and videos, clapped along with the music, and just generally soaked it all in.
After the Parade
Once the parade finished, I packed up my chair and walked around a bit. It was a fun little morning, and I’m glad I went. A nice way to spend a few hours and feel like part of the community.
