Okay, so I’ve been trying to figure out this whole “network marketing” thing with hair products. It’s been… a journey, let me tell you.
Getting Started (and Feeling Totally Lost)
First, I picked a company. I went with one that had products I actually liked – seemed like a good starting point, right? I use their shampoo and conditioner, and I’m always getting compliments, so I figured, why not?

Then came the “starter kit.” Oh boy. It was a big box full of stuff – shampoos, conditioners, styling goop, brochures, you name it. I felt like I’d just bought a mini salon. I dumped everything out on my living room floor and just stared at it. “Now what?” I thought.
Making My First Moves (and Stumbling A Lot)
I started by, you know, talking to people. Family, friends, coworkers… anyone who would listen (or at least pretend to). I showed them the products, tried to explain the “amazing opportunity,” the whole shebang. It was awkward. Super awkward. I’m not a salesperson, I’m just a regular person who likes good hair!
I also tried the whole social media thing. I posted pictures of the products, shared some “before and after” shots (some were mine, some were… borrowed), and even attempted a few live videos. Let’s just say my cat made more appearances than I did.
- First attempt at a live video: Disaster. My internet cut out halfway through.
- Second attempt: My cat decided to “help” by knocking over a bottle of conditioner.
- Third attempt: I actually managed to talk about the products without any major interruptions! (Small victories, people.)
Learning (the Hard Way) and Adjusting
Honestly, the first few weeks were rough. I felt like I was annoying everyone, and I wasn’t really making any sales. I almost gave up. But then I started to pay attention to what other people in the company were doing.
I joined some online groups, watched some training videos (some were actually helpful!), and started to get a better feel for things. I realized I didn’t have to be pushy or “salesy.” I could just be myself and share my honest experiences with the products.
I also learned that it’s not about making a quick buck. It’s about building relationships and actually helping people find products they’ll love. (Sounds cheesy, but it’s true!) I started focusing more on asking people about their hair concerns and recommending specific products, rather than just throwing everything at them.
Still Figuring It Out (But Feeling More Hopeful)
I change the way how to post it on social *’s more about sharing my hair caring *, I made some cute video to show how I use it in daily life.

So, here I am, still on this network marketing adventure. It’s definitely not a “get rich quick” scheme, and it takes work. But I’m learning a lot, meeting some cool people, and actually seeing some progress. I’ve made a few sales, built a small team (mostly friends and family, but hey, it’s a start!), and I’m feeling a little more confident every day. It ain’t perfect, but I do my best.
I’m still a work in progress, but I’m definitely not giving up. Who knows, maybe one day I’ll actually be good at this whole “network marketing” thing. Or maybe I’ll just have really, really good hair. Either way, it’s a win, right?
