Okay, so I’ve been wanting to do this for a while, and today I finally got around to messing with my Atlanta Falcons throwback gear. I’m a huge Falcons fan, and I love the old-school look, so I wanted to see what I could put together.
First, I dug through my closet. I have a bunch of jerseys, t-shirts, and hats, some new, some vintage. I was looking for anything that screamed “old-school Falcons.”
I found my prized possession – a Deion Sanders jersey from the 90s. It’s the black one, with the red and white stripes on the sleeves. Classic!
Putting it Together
- I paired the Sanders jersey with some simple black athletic shorts. I didn’t want anything to take away from the jersey itself.
- Then I added some white crew socks, pulled up high, just like they used to wear them.
- For shoes, I went with some plain white sneakers. Again, keeping it simple and classic.
- The final touch was a vintage Falcons snapback hat. I found one on online some time age. It’s got the old logo and the colors are slightly faded, which adds to the vintage feel.
I tried everything on and… I loved it! It really felt like I was stepping back in time. The jersey is the centerpiece, obviously, but all the little details – the socks, the hat – really bring the whole look together.
I spent a good hour just wearing it all and taking it all in.
I’m definitely going to wear this outfit to a game sometime soon. It’s comfortable, it looks great, and it shows off my Falcons pride in a unique way.
